Pricing/Billing/Estimates [updated 01/15/2008]
All work contracted through company of H is billed and invoiced online. Invoice is directly payable using most major credit cards via PayPal - first time clients must remit payment online via PayPal, check payments are accepted for select repeat clients. Some exceptions may be considered, but work will not commence or be delivered until payment has cleared.
Standard policy is that payment for services is based on an original, pre-agreed upon estimate or package price, half of which is due when work begins, and the second half due upon completion. Larger projects, rush projects, and projects involving outsourced vending [third party print services, website hosting, etc.] may require additional charges and advance payment. Depending on the project, additional charges may accrue during the workflow process, and will be discussed and agreed with you either verbally or in writing [including but not limited to email] before such charges are assessed.
Any refunds given will be granted at my own discretion, and any work performed or services rendered will be deducted from your original payment before a refund is given. With all projects I strive to communicate and deal openly and fairly with all clients... If something is of concern to you, just ask!
Design and Workflow Process
Most designs are created/revised/delivered within 2 business days, unless otherwise stated. While this timeframe can not be guaranteed in all circumstances, I attempt to keep a small client list and work hard to meet this goal whenever possible, and will advise you if a certain portion of your project will take longer than 2 business days to complete or deliver. In all projects, an attempt is made to create and maintain a timeline and schedule for completion and final delivery of your project. If you have need of rush delivery for your project[3-7 business days or less], you must disclose your deadline information before an estimate is delivered, or risk accruing further charges. Business days are defined as Monday through Friday, 10am - 6pm Pacific Time, excluding federal holidays.
While all effort is made to complete work and ensure delivery within your deadline schedule, no guarantees can or will be made as to a delivery date, nor do I assume any liability whatsoever for any consequences resulting from delayed delivery. This is due to the nature of the design and review process, as I cannot be held responsible for delays in being able to give and receive communication from you in regards to approval and/or delivery of your designs.
My Mission
In all projects, I strive to go above and beyond to give friendly and timely communication, quick design turnaround times, and the best possible service and designs I can. In addition, I enjoy a good challenge, so even if that means learning a new system to implement into your website, designing graphics for cutting-edge printing processes, or whatever you feel like throwing at me, I do everything I can to make it happen, or if I don't think I can do it I will let you know. So, if I don't have confidence in my ability to do a specific job well and on-time, you will be the first to know.
